Plastics!

Plastics! Makes me think of "The Graduate" - every time.
Nothing like good old (vintage) usable plastics. A Rubbermaid turntable in avocado green, a pretty (in pink!) tray with cute scalloped edges which will be handy for sorting out crafty bits and pieces, and a breadbox.
Is it bigger than a breadbox? Nope, it IS a breadbox. The bread we buy won't fit in there, though - oddly shaped sourdough, but that's the way it goes. I'll find something to put inside - yes, I will.
Everybody knows I have no shortage of "stuff".
I especially like the fact that none of them set me back more than a buck.
Useful finds are a good thing.
Yes, they are.

If the graduate took the “Plastics!” advice, he’s now a retired multi-millionaire. Dustin Hoffman was/is brilliant and I so miss Anne Bancroft. And Katherine Ross & I went to high school together—well kinda: different close-by, football rival high schools. That might be my greatest claim to fame. Lame! (Had I starred on the football team rather than star on the bench, I might be Mr. Katherine Ross today. ;0) )

“Old” plastic? “Vintage” plastic? I have to get myself “out to pasture.” My school-lunch sandwiches were wrapped in waxed paper.
