Didn't Have A "Clue"

"Clue", the Parker Brothers board game, that is.
But I found one at a thrift store - and now I DO!

It's the original one, just like the one we had when we were kids.

 The assorted "Clue" characters:

 The "Clue" board layout:

And all of the "Clue" rooms:

It makes me happy, now that I have a Clue!

My little lead pipe is missing, and one of the cards, as well. I feel fairly sure that I'll probably be able to replace them some day. It was cheap, so I actually didn't even care. I am surprised more parts weren't missing, to be honest with you.
I have fond memories of playing this game when we Gold Country Girls were growing up.

That is a fun game. Believe it or not, we had an earlier version! The character cards look more realistic.

Yes, Diane is correct - there were 2 editions of Clue before this one you had as kids - mine was the first one that was not as colorful as the next one that came out in the mid 50s (or thereabout '56ish) - the one from the mid-50s is often considered the best design of the classic Clue board games - those mid-century buffs are zealous about maintaining the 50s!
