Barbie Dress-Up Day #2 Sew-Free "Sightseeing"

This outfit and the Sew-Free instruction booklet were part of the purchase I made which included a doll, case and clothing. They belonged to a a friend I used to work with (this was about 10 years ago or more). She was not interested in keeping the items from her childhood, and I was delighted to buy them from her!
You used the included Sew-Free Strips to adhere the fabric pieces together for Barbie's Sew-Free fashions, which, unfortunately, haven't held up real well after 45 years. My friend obviously didn't affix the pretty decorations to the skirt at the time, and no, they weren't with all of the other "stuff" in the case, and neither was the purse.
I did think it was pretty cool that the booklet was still there, at least.

And Barbie is ready for a day of "Sightseeing", even without pretty flowers on her skirt.
She might miss the sunglasses, though.
I know I would.

Oh Heidi! You did it again! You reminded me of something from my childhood that I had completely forgot. I now remember these kits to make Barbie's outfit. Unfortunately, where we lived didn't have many Barbie items so I never saw these in the store. How fabulous that you were able to score this! Twyla
