Wooden "Patchwork"

A couple of years ago, I saw this great box at Ross. I loved it, but I didn't feel like I could justify the purchase at the time. Well, as so often happens with me, I couldn't get it out of my mind! I went back - I forget now how much time had passed.
It wasn't there.
I refused to truly believe that it was gone until I had searched the entire store for it. Sure enough, it had been placed in a different spot - clear across the store in the opposite corner.
Mine.
Right now it is storing useful crafty type supplies for me.
But in my quest to search the store for it, look what else I found! The matching pencil holder! It was in an odd spot, too - not with the box it matched, not anywhere near it.

I showed you the frame in the photo in an earlier post. It just seemed to fit in with my "patchworked" wooden theme, although in slats or stripes rather than "quilt blocks". The frame was a thrift store find.
I like them together.
Do you?

I do this very same thing! "Never give up!" More times than not, I find the item in another part of the store just like you did! Good job!

Love the patchwork box! And the frame goes with it perfectly. I like that you searched high and low for that box. You were on a mission! One time I walked around Goodwill for about half an hour, looking for the other half of a vintage Santa S&P set!
