My posts and pictures from Disneyland are just sort of thrown together in no real order of any kind. I think most of the ones I'm sharing today are from one of the days when Lori was busy at her "Close To My Heart" Convention, and I got to hang out with my stepson and daughter-in-law, Matt and Wendy.
I'm pretty sure that even Mary Poppins, above would declare this salad "practically perfect in every way".
It's the N'awlins Salad from the French Market at Disneyland, and Wendy and I both had it for lunch one day. It was SO good. Here's the menu description, "Lettuce Medley, Julienned Yams, Granny Smith Apples, Caramelized Pecans, Lentils, and Tart Cherries with a Sweet Citrus Vinaigrette."
It was delicious:
We had breakfast one morning at Carnation Cafe.
I didn't see Oscar this time. Maybe he really has retired, now? We saw him when we were there last November. I had never been inside since the "new" seating area has been there. We ate in there, and it was very nice:

Mr. Disney in the Carnation truck:
Beautiful glass lampshade with beaded fringe. Love it:
My breakfast was a Ham and Cheese Omelet with fruit and potatoes.
Matt had the Mickey-Shaped Waffle with apple topping and sausage:
And Wendy had the Fruit Parfait, and Cinnamon-Spiced Hot Cocoa, which she loved.
I'll have to try that next time!
I absolutely LOVE the "It's A Small World" attraction. I could go on it again and again. The last couple of times I had seen it, it was the holiday version, so even though I love that too, it was nice to see it without the holiday this time:
And if we happen to see the adorable figures coming out of the clock, even better!
Matt and Wendy had turkey legs for lunch one day. I'd never had one before, and they shared some with me. It was good!
Here we are on California Screamin' at California Adventure. I only got to go on it once. We like to snap a picture (of our picture) when exiting:
This next picture is "somewhere in California" - on the river!
Grizzly River, that is. We got stopped while riding the rapids, and I was able to take a couple of photos, Seriously, doesn't this picture look like it could be taken anywhere, on a real river?
Back at Disneyland, and we did, indeed get to take a river excursion aboard the Mark Twain. Lori and I found it especially cool and restful one afternoon, seated on a bench cruising along the Rivers Of America. Ah, I wish I was there again right now.
A snapshot from Tomorrowland, with one of my favorite mountains in the background:
I invite you to guess: where in Disneyland was this Tiki photo taken??
Gorgeous "Tangled" artwork on display at the Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A.:
It was all over much too soon, and we had to hit the road and head back home......
Hey, I'll have you know that it is no laughing matter.....
.....so wipe that goofy grin off of your face, Cheshire Cat!
(I'm ready to go back.........as soon as summer is over!)
