Vintage Halloween Finds - From Current

I found some neat vintage things from Current recently that I wanted to show you.
These three large paper masks from 1979 in their original packaging were discovered at the Habitat For Humanity ReStore...
The Witch::
The Owl:
And the "Funny Man":

And these are two pages out of a Current cookbook from 1980, "Special Dishes For Special Days",
with recipes for most of the holidays, including Halloween..
You can make Witches Brew:
or perhaps Pumpkin Bread and Toasted Pumpkin Seeds:
And one more thing, these pretty labels are from 1979 just like the masks, and we have a pumpkin in the mix, so they fit right in with my fall scheme here today:
I've always liked Current, and it tickles me when I find some of the older stuff at thrift stores.

I have always loved Current. Those labels are beautiful! I also would love to make the Witches Brew and the Pumpkin Bread and sip and eat as it (Hopefully) rains this week. Love T

Hey-- I have a few of those labels! They were my mother's. The "stickum" doesn't work too well these days, but I have glue ;)

I love old Current finds as well. I just came across some old Seal-A-Note. I loved shopping in their catalog in the 70's, buying stationery to write letters to my grandparents and cousins who lived 20 minutes away. Love these stickers!
