Puzzle Fun - Part One

I've been playing with these puzzle pieces I found in a bag at a thrift store. I do not know whether they are from a game, or what? But I had fun just putting together as many different things as I could come up with.
A variety of star shapes:

A butterfly:
A potted plant:

Christmas tree:

A flower:

All made with these pieces - the bag was marked $2.50, but since I found two quarters in there along with all of the with the colorful pieces, it really only cost $2:

I'm afraid I don't have a name for this one, but it did utilize the most pieces:
Part Two coming up tomorrow, so please stay tuned!

I love those type of puzzle pieces, what fun. Do you remember how we used to play with blocks when we were little? I always really enjoyed that. Love T

They look like they are made of wood and the colors are wonderful. Plus... you are having a wonderful time with them. That's worth a lot. Sometimes a simple act of creativity can be fun and inspiring.
You always come up with the best things.

They remind me of tangrams (if you google images for tangram, you'll have lots more puzzles to make!)
