Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty

Lori and I had a great time at Disneyland (no thanks to - and despite - the summer crowds!).
But I must admit that it did wear me out completely!
However, I did love being there - as I always do - and I cannot wait to go back!
But not in the summer - never again.
I will stick to my "off-season" visits, thank you very much.
It always makes me feel good to see the gorgeous Sleeping Beauty Castle, shown below in this gorgeous rendition by artist Millard Sheets from a vintage airline calendar I found here in the house, which I have shown you before:

And while I'm on the subject: I found this LP at a thrift store shortly before I left:
I have written about Sleeping Beauty before,
and I actually have two other vintage LP's, but
I didn't have this version of the album, with the storybook pages inside!
(Oh - and I haven't made it to the movie theater yet to see "Maleficent", either, but I might get to this week.)
Evil, personified:
Flora, Fauna, Merrryweather, the dear little worriers (and for good reason!):
"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream....."
Oh, no, not the spindle?!
Brave Prince Phillip fighting the dragon:
Ahhh, and, finally, true love's kiss awakens the lovely Princess Aurora from her slumber!
"And, of course, they lived happily ever after."
Just as it should be.
Dearest Disneyland, I am hoping to see you again one more time later on this year.......
