Then And Now #81 Owens Corning Fiberglas

It's all about Fiberglas today, from Owens Corning. The first ad is from 1939, for Fiberglas Air Filters:

I couldn't find out exactly when Owens Corning began using the Pink Panther in their advertising, but yes, he's still there!

I love that Pink Panther theme! I remember helping Daddy with the installation of insulation (fun to say) in about 1962 but don't remember what kind it was. I was thinking Johns Manville or something like that. Very interesting! Love T

These days people must be using other types of insulation, the way Owens Corning and the Panther tout insulation as part of a basement remodeling package the company offers.
