A Vintage Christmas Card Tree

I found this vintage Christmas Card Tree" at a thrift shop:
The package is dated 1957, and inside was just an ugly piece of "tree-shaped" paper that I would never use in a million years. I suppose it served it's purpose back then, as it has most certainly seen use! With instructions on the back:
See? easy enough for little Susie to do it herself:
How do YOU display your Christmas cards??

Great find. The idea of a tree on the wall is great but who has the room?? I used to put all my cards out on a table but now I have less table space (too much decor) and fewer cards (people don't send as many) so I put them in a rectangle red planter.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I have a wooden holder shaped like Santa and his two arms contain the cards. I agree with Annette about wall space and not as many cards, otherwise a tree of cards seems like a good idea. Love T

i don't have curtains in our house - so i put cards across the top of each window frame - it looks so bare when they are taken down in jan but i love it while they are up. i usually get enough to do all the windows in the family room where we spend the most time. i put the rest on the railing going upstairs - since you can see it from the front door.
