Then And Now #29 Rice Krispies

Here they are in an advertisement from 1939. No Snap, Crackle and Pop (as characters) yet, back "Then":

I must admit that, when I purchase them these days, it's usually because I want to make some of these (this ad from 1962):

john and i went to kellogs in battle creek mi when they still were doing tours - the fresh cereal they give you afterwards was amazing.

Rice Krispy Treats are just so "American", I think! Lots of sweet memories of helping my Mom make them... and, of course, eating them... Mmmmmm! As always, your vast collection of Vintage Ads never ceases to delight me... Thanks very much for sharing them...
