Vintage Christmas Music Books

I love my Christmas music books. Some of them are the very same ones we had back when we took piano lessons. I found some of them at thrift shops:

We definitely had this one:

We had this one, too:
Even if I already have a copy, I can't resist picking these up when I see them!
We three girls have many sweet memories of our piano teacher, Mrs. Mary Domingues, and our Christmas Piano Recitals, so many years ago.

"Let Us Have Music For Christmas".
Yes, let's!

we all had to take piano lessons - and one of those - i have already forgotten which one (maxwell eckstein one i believe) is the one we had. 6 years and i cannot play a note. my poor parents they tried to find something i would shine at and were unsuccessful in everything they tried.

My teacher's name was Italia Gambino and I will never forget taking piano lessons from her.
Christmas was always special when I could play a song for everyone... thanks to her.
I remember some of these song books. I will have to look for them in thrift stores.
Thanks for a good memory of a happy time.

I too treasure my Christmas music books and my memories of Mrs. Domingues and recitals. Laurel and I would sit there and await our turns and make necklaces out of paper clips. (Very quietly of course). Love T
