In this one, I said I would be on the lookout for some of the ones I didn't have yet.
Well, since then, I have added a few! Thanks to thrift stores, and also my sister who will purchase ones she already has and then sell or give them to me!

You are just determined to take me back to the 1960's.
Those first two cookbooks were my life line as a new bride. The Betty Crocker Dinner for Two and the Good & East Cookbooks were my "staples" in the kitchen along with Joy of Cooking. I still have them all and they are some of the best basic cookbooks ever made.
It's a post of memories....
i have the cookie book - bought it myself in either jr high or high school. think i told you before that my mom bought me the red cover spiral notebook style big cookbook for me before i got married.
Cooky Book is fab -= I want that as a poster on my wall!

I absolutely love it when one of my posts sparks a memory for some of our readers!
Thank you so much for sharing!
I just love these old cookbooks. They have wonderful illustrations and pictures in them. I usually pick them up at yard sales. Twyla
