Lori and I managed to make it to Apple Hill last week. It was quite late in the day, and we only had time to visit Abel's Apple Acres . Both of Lori's kids worked there when they were in high school. I don't think I had ever been there!
They sell pies, of course, and all kinds of other goodies. But I didn't buy any of these:

One ounce of fudge equals three Points Plus Values on Weight Watchers.
I can do this.
I'm certain that I can.

Sure you can do it, but if you need some help, big sis is here! Love T
I love Abel's! It has everything, so if I don't make to any other place, I feel like at least I went to "the really good one"! There's one other "must go"... can't remember the name (Larson's?), but it has a big rainbow on the side of the building. You can order mini donuts hot out of the fryer and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Yummm! I suspect that there's a lot of points in those :(
With all the goodies up there, they should just rename it "Yummy Points Hill", eh'?
hugs,
Jill
i love apples. not too much of a fudge fan anymore. michigan trivia - tourists are also called fudgies. on mackinac island there are many fudge shops.
While living in Sacramento, Apple Hill was an autumn tradition...sure do miss it!
